Nortico (Alberto Orte) - Minho, Portugal
Varietal: Alvarinho (Albarino)
The tile design on the label is meant to pay tribute to the hand painted azulejos (tiles) that grace the buildings in the area.
Stainless steel fermentation with four months on the lees. The grapes are hand selected from over 100 small vineyards sights across the towns of Monção and Melgaço on the border of Spain.
The wine is creamy, citrus forward with a stoney minerality and a long finish. Really a great wine for all formats of seafood, ceviche to fried.
